Abstract

|
Rubella antibodies detection was performed with sera from 188 healthy junior high school girls in Woniu city to understand its epidemiologic pattern. Serologic method used for this purpose was ELISA test.
The results obtained are summerized as follows;
1. The positive rate of rubella antibody were 82.4%(56/68) in 13 year of age, 83.7%(41/46) in 14 year of age, and 93.0%(66/71) in 15 year of age.
2. The average positive rate of rubella antibody was 86.7%(163/188).
3. The greatest number of specimens(51.5%) were distributed from 3.000 to 3.999 of Rubazyme indices.
